Recruitment for the post of Upper Division Clerk & Multitasking staff


ESI SCHEME IN HIMACHAL PRADESH

The ESI scheme in the state of Himachal Pradesh has started in the year, 1977 with notification (details enclosed) of some areas of Solan Distt. However, the state was far behind in industrialization , the scheme remained dormant in Himachal Pradesh till, 2000. After 2000, because of package of tax concession announced by the central government, rapid growth of industrialization was witnessed in the state and huge number of industrial units were set up in the foothills of Shiwalik, i.e. Solan, Sirmour and Una Districts of the state. 

ONLINE APPLICATIONS (Through website of ESIC, R.O., Baddi at www.esichp.in) are invited
for filling up 45 vacancies of Upper Division Clerk (Group “C”) & 12 vacancies of Multitasking Staff
(M.T.S.) (Group-C) in the pay structure PB-1 Rs.5200-20200+Grade Pay Rs.2400 and PB-1 Rs.5200-
20200+Grade Pay Rs.1800 respectively plus D.A., H.R.A. and Transport Allowance as per rules in force
from time to time applicable to the employees of the E.S.I. Corporation. The break-up of the vacancies is as under:-


Age Limit:-
(a) For Upper Division Clerks : Between 18 to 27 Years of age as on last date of submission of online
application i.e 31.1.2012 (Candidates born between 1.2.1985 and 1.2.1994 both dates inclusive

(b) For Multi Tasking Staff : Between 18 to 25 years of age as on last date of submission of online
application i.e. 31.1.2012 (Candidates born between 1.2.1987 and 1.2.1994 both dates inclusive


How to apply:- Application in the prescribed form available on website may be submitted online
through ESIC, R.O., Baddi website www.esichp.in & then a print of the filled in form may be taken and signed and then sent alongwith D.D. towards payment of fee and attested photographs (2 copies), copy of all certificates and testimonials (Copies of certificates and testimonials are required to be submitted at this stage for the post of M.T.S. only) in an envelope superscribed as “Application for the post of “Upper Division Clerk” or Application for the post of “Multi tasking staff” as the case may be, at the following address:-

Applications received other then through online process will not be entertained and they will be
rejected summarily. The system generated hard copy of Online Applicatin duly signed by the Candidate along with the examination fee (wherever applicable) received within the stipulated time shall only be considered as a valid application for the post advertised.


Last Date: 

"Last date of receipt of applications (hard copy of system generated online application) is 31.1.2012 by 5.00 PM (Last date for receipt of application from candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu & Kashmir State, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi sub -Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh , Andaman and Nicobar Island and Lakshdweep will be 10.2.2012".
The system generated hardcopy of application duly signed alongwith necessary enclosure is to be sent by Registered/ Speed Post to the address as mentioned under clause 05 above. The date and venue of examination shall be informed later.
